How to use our Online Booking System
Important! Please read the information on this page before booking
The booking system we use isn’t as user-friendly as we’d like it to be, so these instructions are designed to guide you through the process and ensure you book the correct appointment type.
If you’re unsure about anything or have questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us before completing your booking. You can contact us at contact@talkcoach.co.uk.
How to book an Initial Appointment
(Speech and Language Therapy/Coaching)
Please follow these steps if you are booking your first appointment with us.

We only send booking links after triaging your referral, confirming your eligibility for our services and matching you to a clinician.
If for some reason you have accessed this page without having been in touch with us to discuss your referral - please contact us first!Note: Online booking is currently only available for online appointments.

Please note that ‘Free Introductory Call’ is available only for people interested in Coaching or Supervision with Kezia (not for Speech and Language Therapy services).

It’s important you select the correct appointment type. Check with us if you’re unsure.
We should have given you a name of the clinician who you will be working with.
Initial Appointment - Online (Associate SLT): For initial appointments with one of our Associate Speech and Language Therapists - Louise J, Louise C, or Chloe.
Initial Appointment - Online (Kezia): For initial appointments with Kezia.
If you’ve been referred for swallowing or referred directly by a consultant (e.g., ENT, Neurologist), please select the relevant option that includes a Report. We will have advised you about this during your initial contact.

Choose the clinician we’ve assigned to you.
Important: Please only select the clinician we’ve allocated to you. Other clinicians may appear to have availability, but they may not be the best fit for your needs, they may not have long-term availability and they may not be taking new clients.

You’ll now see the availability for your assigned clinician. Select a date and time that works for you.
If you can’t find a suitable date and time, contact your named clinician or drop us an email at contact@talkcoach.co.uk in case we have any flexibility.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your booking.
If you’ve already completed our Referral Form, you’ll be in our system. Please use the same spelling of your name and the correct date of birth as this is how our system links your booking to your online account.

You will see two options:
‘Continue to Payment’
‘Confirm Booking and Pay Later’
Please select ‘Continue to Payment’ unless you have external funding. If you’re unsure, contact us for clarification.
This will take you to the payment screen.

Once your booking is complete:
You will receive an email notification confirming your appointment.
This will include a receipt and a link to your online meeting.
Check your junk/spam folder if it hasn’t come through within a few minutes.
Please also drop us an email us at contact@talkcoach.co.uk so we can check your booking is in our system (unfortunately we’ve had a few problems with the system lately!)
How to book a Follow Up Appointment
(Speech and Language Therapy/Coaching)
Please follow these steps if you have already seen us for an initial appointment. You can also follow these steps when booking a block of 6 or 8 sessions. Expand the headings to view more details.

Follow Up Online Appointment (Associate SLT): For follow up appointments with Louise J, Louise C, or Chloe.
Follow Up Online Appointment (Kezia) For follow up appointments with Kezia.

How to book a Free Introductory Call with Kezia (Coaching or SLT Supervision only)
Please follow these steps to book a Free Introductory Call (20 mins) with Kezia to discuss Supervision or Coaching.

This service is currently only offered for clients seeking Coaching or Supervision for Speech and Language Therapists.
If you are interested in our Speech and Language Therapy services, we are currently unable to provide a free call.

You’ll now see the availability for the call. Select a date and time that works for you.
If you can’t find a suitable date and time, drop us an email at contact@talkcoach.co.uk - Kezia is often booked up in advance but may sometimes have some flexibility.

Once your booking is complete:
You will receive an automated email confirming your appointment.
This will include a link to the online meeting.
There will also be a link to an online form to provide us with more details about what you are looking to achieve through working together. Please complete this before the call!
Check your junk/spam folder if it hasn’t come through within a few minutes.
How to book a Supervision session with Kezia
(For SLTs only!)
Please follow these steps to book a supervision session with Kezia.

Why do I need to enter my date of birth?
It’s not ideal, but this is how our online booking system matches your appointment booking to your record on our system.
I don’t need to know your DOB so feel free to use 01/01/2000.
Just make sure you always enter this DOB when booking any further appointments.
Please also use the same spelling of your name for any repeat bookings as this is how our system links your booking to your online account.

you are booking weeks in advance - if you prefer, we can send you an invoice closer to the time of your appointment. Payment is due 1 week before the session.

How to Reschedule or Cancel an appointment
Unfortunately our system doesn’t currently allow you to make changes through the online booking system (although this feature should be coming soon!).
